ForrestPerkins had the distinct honor of serving as both the interior designer and architect of record for the extraordinary expansion of The Joule, a premier luxury hotel nestled in the heart of downtown Dallas. This ambitious project played a pivotal role in anchoring the revitalized retail and dining district on Main Street, where The Joule shares its prestigious city block with the landmark flagship Neiman Marcus store.

The expansion artfully integrated three historic buildings, preserving their architectural charm while adding modern elegance. A new-build connector links the original hotel to its stunning nine-story addition, which houses an array of upscale amenities. Guests can indulge in the serene underground spa, dine at the acclaimed CBD Provisions restaurant on the ground floor, or enjoy crafted cocktails at Midnight Rambler, the sultry speakeasy nestled in the hotel’s basement. The expansion also includes an enlarged ballroom on the second floor and a rooftop event pavilion, offering versatile spaces for memorable occasions.
