This project includes the interior transformation of four (4) luxury suites. Two Penthouse Suites, which are massive 5,000-square-foot-triplexes, as well as two “Skyview” Suites, which are one-floor, 2,500-square-foot models. The four suites are stacked atop two corners of the building, capturing wrap around views of Manhattan and northward to Central Park. The four suites within this scope are part of a larger suite collection at the hotel and were designed to evoke a classically inspired New York apartment, “it’s like your own personal townhouse in the sky.”

The three-floor penthouses feature two-story living rooms with 18-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, sweeping staircases, hand-crafted Hästens mattresses in the bedrooms, luxurious marble bathrooms, spacious walk-in closets, private fitness rooms with Peleton bikes, and rooftop terraces with breathtaking views of Manhattan. Wood-burning fireplaces on the terrace level spark the senses.

The single-story suites, both provide spectacular views spanning from the Hudson River, across Central Park, and all the way to the East River. They are also each equipped with a curated library, living room, dining room, entertainment room, gym, office, and kitchen/butler pantry.

To meet the challenge of working with such vast spaces, and to make it feel more intimate and inviting, the design team integrated libraries and private lounges into the bedroom areas, custom-designed rugs throughout the suites, and carefully arranged seating throughout to create smaller destinations within each penthouse. The seating can be easily rearranged to accommodate larger, socially-distanced gatherings. By underscoring a residential spirit, the design captures the feeling of a classic New York City pied-à-terre with bespoke art collections and unparalleled views.
