Colletta Conner knew from an early age that she was a creative, drawing plans to make their family Navy housing function better. Growing up in San Diego going to Copley Symphony Hall for performances, she was amazed at how small she felt in such a massive beautiful space. It was a powerful glimpse into how design and architecture make the world a better place.
Starting her career in the U.S. Air Force, where she was a medic & Health Promotion Director, gives her a unique perspective, and problem-solving thrived due to pragmatic thinking. Her passion for creating healthy environments that impact body, spirit, and mind is part of her DNA. This unique background engages the built environment’s impact on the human connection. Well-being is not optional, and as a design leader, she commits to this endeavor.
With over twenty years of award-winning experience, she brings extensive knowledge and expertise in hotel brands, large-scale properties, boutique hotels, spa and wellness, restaurants, historic landmark, resort destinations, and luxury multi-residential for branded and independent hospitality. As the Managing Principal of ForrestPerkins, she applies her education in Organizational Leadership to balance highly detailed design with firm management making her a strong leader and client collaborator.
Colletta loves learning new things and growing in all aspects of her life. Getting to know and guide the unique personalities of each team member to achieve a successful professional career and personal life balance truly makes coming to work enriching and rewarding.
