Washington, DC. (November, 2017) – ForrestPerkins, a luxury hospitality and multi-residential design firm, announced today that Frank Harker, a Senior Designer at the firm, has been recognized as one of 18 on-the-rise hospitality designers in Boutique 18 Awards. Boutique Design Magazine revealed its 13th yearly roster of noteworthy, up-and-coming designers of hospitality interiors at this fall’s Boutique Design New York (BDNY), Nov. 12-13, and will be celebrated at an induction ceremony at next spring’s BDwest in Los Angeles, April 4-5.
Frank, who has joined ForrestPerkins’ Dallas office as an Associate and Senior Designer in May 2017, is an accomplished Interior Designer with a history of practice in luxury hospitality, high-end residential, and restaurant design. Frank’s portfolio is both eclectic and global, encompassing renovations and new builds, and scattering the globe from the United States to Asia and the Middle East. Frank studied at the esteemed Savannah College of Art and Design, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with honors in 2007. Presently, he is a Senior Designer on the renovation of ballrooms and meeting spaces at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Dallas, Texas, historic Plaza Hotel in El Paso, TX, and Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit, MI.

The Boutique Design Magazine seeking to recognize the rising design stars who are creating today’s (and tomorrow’s) most buzzed-about hospitality venues. The Boutique 18 awards are presented annually. Eligible interior designers must be working in the hospitality industry. Candidates are evaluated on their accomplishments in the following categories: impact on recent projects; influence on and contributions to the industry; business design management and design process contributions to their company or firm; and outstanding individual qualities.
