As a Designer in the ForrestPerkins D.C. office, Caitlyn Pratt is involved in project site visits, multi-residential model room design, research, concept development, schematic design, construction documentation and construction administration for the Firm’s clients. She issues project specifications, develops presentations and responds to shop drawing submittals. Ms. Pratt’s major strength is in her Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD proficiency, rendering elevations, space planning, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and design concepts.
She began her interior design career as an intern with Washingtonian Interiors and BCDG Studios. Upon her graduation from Marymount University with a degree in interior design, Mrs. Pratt continued to work with BCDG where she gained hospitality experience working on hotel brands such as Hilton, Marriot, Kimpton and other small boutique hotels.
Mrs. Pratt is currently teaching Interior Design courses at Marymount University as well as leading Revit training for ForrestPerkins. Also, she is preparing to sit for the NCIDQ exam.
