Ritz-Carlton San Francisco
San Francisco, CA
The iconic building of Ritz-Carlton San Francisco was once a home to a college of the arts, inspiring the selection of local artists to enhance the lobby. We developed a circle motif as a metaphor for the connection between art and the people who enliven the space. Each circle connects to another and forms its own set of connections, referencing the sharing of ideas and inspiration brought about by art and design. The resulting design brought a modern vibe to the traditional wood paneled space.
